How big of a difference is upgrading a Swiftblade of Zek to a Horn of Hsagra?
Is it worth paying the extra plat?

What’s the goal and the class?
Rangers and warriors are stuck with 240 piercing instead of 250 with other stats. Ratio wise it’s less than a 1% difference in MH between HoH and SBoZ.

Just purely stats wise its 25ac 10sta 25svc vs 25hp 10str 25 mana
DPS wise, assuming BIS Rogue with Mrylokar's and Claw of Lightning with 255str and max skills doing 141.29 dps, a Warrior with 11/18 primary and 12/20 secondary will do 73.80 dps, while 13/20 primary (ignoring the skill difference) and 12/20 secondary will do 74.15 dps. If using Reaver (40/40) he will do 80.87 dps
10atk is roughly 1% dps, and 10 skill is like what, 16atk?
You will of course get different dps on AoW compared to on an orc pawn, but ratio should remain the same.
There may be slight error on accuracy of the calculation, but any error should apply the same.
For Rogue, HoH is the only tradeable upgrade over Ragebringer for mainhand but I think your question is for Warrior or Ranger

Question is for warrior. How big of a difference being stuck at 240 rather than 250? Maybe reaver is the play if I’m soloing

You can get a ToD, Herbalist Spade and Reaver for half the cost of a Fungi. Give it a shot before you burn plat on a HoH. Unless a rogue, I wouldn’t personally buy one.

Reaver for soloing
Swiftblade is a decent offhand if your trying to max hp when agro is less of an issue,ie mobs you can totem during the pull like vindi.
1h are terrible for solo warriors.

what about Doljonijiarnimorinar? Is it just considered a fun toy for early levels?

It’s not really good in the low levels or high levels, unless you really care about fashion.

For low to mid level warrior leveling, it's probably best to keep cheap reasonable dps low delay weapons of all skills just to keep skill levels up, like Jade Mace, Ornate Rune Blade, Poison Wind Censer etc. I don't have personal experience with level 1 high damage proc weapons for leveling but their high price and rarity is probably not worth chasing after, although it probably is fun as hell to 1 shot things once in awhile with the proc, but you also need tradeable high dex gear to make better use out of them. I'd stick with ac/str/hp/haste and reasonable white damage dps per price gear.

Unless you plan on exclusively soloing I recommend prioritizing dexterity. As a dwarf (high starting dex) with starting stats dumped into dexterity and with an eye for dex on gear it sure did make my quality of life significantly better.
Even solo at higher levels, an earlier average proc time on truncheon and other utility weapons for me was far preferable to the extra stamina or whatever else I gave up.
In the end high vs low dex can mean the difference between being able to do your job vs not (reliably).
I still have not gotten to the point where I have 255 with just FoS (can get close). Requires a dex stack or avatar.
No regrets
