The sport is greater than the prize.

Since hitting 10k posts I’ve become highly regarded, am being constantly harassed on the streets for signatures and witty retorts.

I don’t want to say I regret anything, but would I have chosen this knowing what I do now? Maybe not.

Can i have an NFT of the signature you give to a blind orphan on their deathbed please?
Please keep the witty retort for someone else. Im not greedy.

Is it correct to say "The paternal grandmother's X chromosome is extinct in the male issue (the son of her son)"?

Other than in chimaerism, I mean.

By way of this factoid I came to learn that only girl mosquitos bite humans for sustenance.

Going forward I will be referring to them solely as "female bloodsuckers" and if anyone has a problem with it, they can thank Botten.

you should start us off and we'll find out. we pretend we're talking about Sports or something. mine just did a last minute draft and their chances of winning the finals are looking better.

Predictions on sports outcomes over the course of a season are traditionally very poor indicators of actual outcomes. On paper my team is very solid when you look at the stats of when they played. The other team however, the predictions I've seen are all based on them becoming players they have never been, and even the opposite of what the predictions claim. As I said, my team should win based on the data but you never know how the refs are going to call the game, maybe someone winds up injured, breaks an ear and that impacts their ability to play. We will see though.

kek.

idk my favorite team the Philadelphia Eagles have the same refs as the last time these two teams played. i foresee a late perhaps 3am field goal to get us over the line and clench the victory with their home stadium advantage there.

more a science experiment, my theory is mods don't look at these magnetaress post count threads anymore, it has the potential to really shake up the off topic meta if so.

Honestly I think being forced to couch everything politics-related in sports metaphors might actually raise the level of dialog.

I imagine having to turn the passionate part of your brain off, so you can find the right metaphor to match whatever you want to say, will then result in more dispassionate arguments.

Say what you will about Dan Snyder, but the man knew how to run a football team. Ever since the Washington Commanders got rid of him they've been terrible at developing any young players, continually emptying the barn to sell them off piecemeal. Sam Howell for example only got a year before they tossed him in the trash. It seems they think they can fill all their positions of need with free agents that other teams didn't want to keep, even though they're near or above the salary cap every year already.

What math theorem am I observing in the following word problem?

On the days that you are sexually active, that is to say, the days on which you engage in sexual activity with a person other than yourself - what is the average number of other persons you engage with in sexual activities on the days on which you are sexually active?

This should never return a value lower than 1, right?

Been that way for a while now, like the mid 1990s. we're still nowhere near ancient Egyptian views toward cats as a counter point.

wake me up when we use slave labor to produce a statue of Taylor Swift's cat.
