Hardcore Guild

Me and some friends are making a <Hardcore> guild on green. If you die, you are out. You can either leave the guild and keep your character in shame or you can delete it like a true hero.

We come from a long line of diablo hc as well as wow hc. There are a few new and old EQ players amongst us. Most of us are playing solo roles with high utility however there are some people willing to take on tank roles.

Our only real rule is that any death will result in leaving the guild, or a delete. It is upto you. We want to see how hard we can push it. Any deaths by DC or server fault are also included. Please let us know in this thread if this is something that interests you and we will be in touch in game or notify you of our discord.

You are free to exp and group with non <Hardcore> tagged players, but it is up to you to announce or post your death on our discord so that we can mourn your loss. It is upto you then whether you delete the character or have it remain.

Tried D4 hardcore. Got about 20 hours in and realised that my barb couldn't die. First ever char pwnjng all the big bosses withiut issue.

Anyway. No sign of Hardcore on green, level 5

No problems, will post discord once the community is established. We are happy for even 10 more people to join the adventure. We have capped the joining level at 6 and above. If you are not tagged before then, you are unable to proceed.
Twinking is fine, and if you do go true and delete your character we will permit the transfer of your items.

If you die and do not follow the rules you are only cheating yourself - there are loyal players ready to help and work as a team!

Also, we even have deficated players who are opting to bind their characters in opposite faction kos guilds to prove their dedication. Shit is gonna be wild. We are kind of hoping they die too.

Mandatory bind in arena works for me. If only there was some way we could convince the GMs to let us drop ears upon death. The eartrade of EC would thrive.

Also, imagine EVERYONE was HC on this server. The economy would be as fresh as day 1. Would be cyoooool.

You're not the first to have this idea. No time to rez goes back at least a year, maybe a couple years. . The reason you don't see them around is because the novelty wears off very quickly. I'm sure you and your friends in your your <New Hardcore Guild> will follow suit before too long.

I would be down / have experience doing this on red to 55 (was close to 56)

Been rolling a rando ruleset I made for myself restart level 1 prior to this on green and just got 60 a few days ago (Open trading / community grouping / corpse loot like diablo 2)

I encourage / respect a stricter ruleset just need other players to level with. I play MMO's for the social experience and not keen on a solo challenge :-p

Should green (or red) 2.0 ever come to fruition - guild battle royale last man standing on the last day of current server.

Im willing to watch hundreds of K of level 60 sold out greengrass to fulfill pixel dream corpse rot if you are. Though getting past level 10 would be a miracle.

All quiet though. And im doing the ole regular levelling thing. Will keep an eye poeled.

It has begun.

Characters are binding themselves in enemy kos guilds to ensure their characters brick upon death. Others are sticking to the HC ruleset, however not going to this extreme. Simply post the rules that you want to abide by in your introduction on the discord and we will support them!

If you like the sound of this, please be in touch.

This HC Community is currently running as an offshoot within the <Self Found> community.

We are quite relaxed - you can really make your own rules. But if you want the ultimate challenge, we are offering binds in kos guildleader locations.

I never knew EQ could be so fun again - knowing that my character has a one-way ticket to hell has really made my reconsider everything. 10/10 recommend.
