At the risk of being derailed by everyone here, what in the world do puppet strings do??

They allow you to charm a mob and gain Amiable faction in order to do quests that normally only an enchanter could do. Like OT Hammer, the most essential quest for guild mobility in raids.

Yes i am looking to Charm the NPC for the OT hammer. This will save hundreds of hours of Faction work for a young hobbit! I want the OT hammer for a quick way to get out of nasty places (HS, Hate etc) and quick travel to Kunark. Thanks for the bumps I have already connected with a seller !
