I present myself in an IRL way so you know that I’m not a child before explaining my point of view on what is happening on the blue server of P99.
My name is Raymond and I am 51 years old. Yes, you read correctly, I was born on September 5, 1973 and I am far from a teenager who gets his little crisis.
I am Belgian and so I only speak French and I use a translator to write this post so sorry if sometimes it is not very well translated.


I will first put things in place and in order. I arrived on the Blue server 6 months ago , not measuring English and not knowing
people on the server and so I created my very first and unique Claritis character an enchanter turned 59 this day. Very quickly I met a person
wonderful on the server that a member of the RIOT guild and who has more than 12 characters 60 full equipped ( which is perfectly his right ) and who is the since the
creation of the blue server. In 6 months I met a lot of people and connected with many of them and 80% are members of the RIOT guild.
All as adorable in the game as out on discord . They are all senses the slightest adorable exception and always ready to help others. I enjoyed so much
this guild that I was waiting to be 60 to apply for membership. I also decided to start making my epic and wanted to do it alone
and with my friends in the game so as not to depend on a guild to get my epic ( of style I apply in the biggest server guilds and hop they will make my epic for me ) and
That’s not the point. I think when you join a guild it’s to help them and not necessarily the opposite from the start.

Well, here we are now that I have set the stage for MY big problem.
I started with Verina tomb because I’m dark elf and so easy to see every day if she is present or not .
But she is level 60 and it’s impossible to kill her alone being an enchanter even lvl 60.
So I asked my friend for help and he came along with other members of RIOT to help me.
I found it beautiful and I thanked them , the next day the same players helped me to kill the big monkey on his island ( Tangrine )
and the I said to myself as we are not far away why not do Vessel!! And the one RIOT member told me, oh no for that you have to go through a band on Discord .
I thought it was a joke at first because I don’t see why ask permission to a group of people the permission to kill Vessel!
So to be able to see when Vessel is present I mounted an iksar shaman level 5 to go into the room easily where Vessel is.


When I arrive in his room I see a monk on the ground who pretends death. I say normal , he check like me Vessel to see when it will be present, and so every day I will look in the room.
But only when I connect to the game and play for a few hours during the day. But every time I connect into the piece, the monk is always there.
Not normal, I do not know a human who lives 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without stopping! Then I remembered what the RIOT player had told me.
I started to inquire and I ended up discovering that this Discord group exists well and I’m registered there to see how it went at them and for that I made a request
like all other players, and I understood that there were rules, and that it was not a simple group of people but a real and large complete organization which prohibit for example among others
Reveal the time of death of Vessel so that they can keep the monopoly and thus prevent any other players from being able to access it. So I explain, he is constantly monitored and as soon as it appears in less than 5 minutes there is a whole group ready to kill him. You will therefore NEVER have access to Vessel without going through this entire organization, which decides alone who has the right or not to kill Vessel!

I find this anti-democratic and frankly unfrozen as proceeding . So I immediately gave my point of view and that’s what Nichii player and member of the RIOT guild told me if I was not happy with their rules I would be banned and he would take care of it personally. He was so strong in his words that I even thought he was a member or owner of the p99 server, I said to myself, incredible I’m going to be banned from the server because I don’t agree with it.

My friends, what rights does one person have to all power like a god on an epic mpc?
Without his consent you will never have it!

This is how he defends his cause. He explains that other players before him had ALSO the monopoly on Vessel but they sold the stick of dixaines of thousands of PP. ( at bottom that is that it is forbidden to do this ) and I explain. I can’t kill level 60 monsters alone to get my spells and like all the other players I bought them in the tunnel and sometimes 20Kpp ONE spell!!
So owning an item and selling it for a fortune is part of the game. One day I was asked to help kill a fungus in sebilis and I later understood that it was the one who let go of the tunic regrow.
Then when we finally killed it they said split, and I did not understand. I came to help and an enchanter can not wear it, so I asked who needed it and the they answered me none of us , we will sell very expensive and share the money! So I participated in the death of a monster just for money, I was disgusted and I never wanted my share . So yes we kill mobs just for the money .
Why wouldn’t Vessel be part of it then? ask yourself the question .

So no I do not agree that a single person has the right of life or death on a mob and more epic!

Imagine now that I decide to do the same with Verina tomb and another decides to build an organization on the tangrine , and where are we going after? we make organization on all important mobs, and if I don’t like someone he will never have the drop of Verina tomb?

I say NO!! it is not everquest then , it is just the butcher who will have the right or not.

They told me but then what would you do YOU in our place.

Very simple, I would abandon the idea of camping 24 hours a day Vessel , I killed Verina tomb without problem and the tangrine, you just have to leave Vessel alone and one day I will end up having it.
You want another solution, made so that the stick of Vessel becomes NO DROP and more of the worry!!

I WANT THAT NICHII AND ALL ARE ORGANIZATION ARRESTED IMMEDIATELY OF CAMPER VESSEL 24H ON 24H AND 7 DAYS ON 7 DAYS!!

And stop saying that if we are not in agreement nothing prevents us to kill it ourselves, it is just impossible because you need less than 5 minutes to kill him, that even if I stayed awake for days in his room I would not have time to gather people to kill him, because an enchanter ALONE could not kill him!

PS; I have nothing personal against Nichii , I respect the human being that he is. I’m just in total disacclaim with what he has set up that gives him the right to decide as a god to do whatever he wants with Vessel, we don’t have to ask his permission or his will to access an epic monster

An enchanter alone can absolutely kill vessel,for what it's worth.
I know a level 51 that did it,but I wouldn't rely on that. If your 55+ it's very doable
You need:
Wand of allure, this is the only way to survive a charm break during the fight
Reaper of the dead,this is just incase something goes bad. Sometimes vessel rips your pet up and you need a reaper to save the fight,or a charm break happens and you need to heal yourself .
I like using throw away pet gear to reduce it's Mr a bit. Adamantite bands and rusty shoulders help alot for -30mr and a few hundred pp


Using a crusader,Golia is popular. Make sure you start with a recant magic and a theft of thought.
Your going to chain rune 5 your pet during the fight to keep him ahead,until your out of mana.
The recant is just to strip his damage shield,which really adds up.
Beyond that,it's just charm luck.
I have solo vessel several times for myself and friends,it's. Very doable. Sometimes you'll still die, even with all the prep

Wait, you are against Sewer Club?

Sewer Club is one of the best things to happen on this server. It's a fair system where everyone that helps with the kill can /random 1000 with the winner getting their rod. Your roll gets a bonus for every time that you've lost a previous roll, meaning that sooner or later you will win.

If you joined sewer club today, are a decent person, and help with every kill, you will probably have your rod in a couple of weeks.

Instead of attacking literally one of the best things to happen for enchanters on Blue server, understand that before Sewer Club, the only way you could get your Xolion Rod was to buy loot rights for 100-150k.

OP I understand your frustration, but to be honest if it wasn't the group you're talking about monopolizing Vessel, it would be Riot, or another guild, or some other group of people. This isn't unusual

Controlling an epic mob and deciding who can loot is much worse than selling the 150K cane! And then we sell spells for 20K and other campe the fungis tunic just to sell it and share the loot. Park a lvl 1 lizard in his room,with a Gina trigger set to "vessel drozlin begins to cast a spell" attach a loud noise to it.
Noise goes off,swap and go

OP, I think you're missing the point. As I said in my earlier comment, if this group of people wasn't doing it this way you'd have some assholes sitting there monopolizing it and probably trying to charge you like 100k platinum for loot rights. This is literally a way to allow more Enchanters to get their epic because it prevents even worse groups from controlling the spawn.

Farm some pp and pay them. That camp sucks. They are doing you a favor. Go farm for a bit. Pay them for LRs. The time is the same but farming isn’t as boring as sitting at VD.

Stand there with any level 60 melee in kunark or better gear.

Auto attack vessel on spawn.

Click wort pots and reaper as needed. Bonus points for hitting furious to get your eyepatch or haste arms clicked+having a lava potion for DS.

Why anyone would ever join sewer club IDK. I've done 4 vessels in the last 2 years, 3 of them for friends. Literally stand there on monk, gina trigger, run to PC and auto attack it. Sewer club are very slow. Vessel isn't hard.

One of the times war was buffed and I swapped on spawn, and golem wanded DS off while disc, used 7 clicks of a wort but also finished fight at 80% so totally unnessesary.

Out of curiosity, is this not against the PNP if someone has been camping the spawn already? Is the argument that you gave them a reasonable time to engage before you did?

Nothing about the East Cabilis Sewer Club is preventing an enchanter from getting access to this kill. We provide everything for one to get it done including shared characters to use that are always in the camp. No platinum is ever collected. The only thing we ask is people follow some simple rules to help equalize time put in and make looting a fair playing field for anyone choosing to participate with us. It has always been and will continue to be a club that anyone is welcome to join and get epic completed as a group. In the last few months a few enchanters even got a rod within 24 hours of joining!!

Ah so at the end of the day OP is really just upset that someone else is also tracking the spawn and therefore it's harder to get a group of his guild together at the time it spawns where he is the only one in the group who needs a rod. He doesn't like working with people who also need a rod and might win a roll over him.

OP, your whole post is just totally off base and really you're just upset because you can't just stroll in and kill Vessel in a group where you're the only one who needs the rod.

Honestly the vessel fte races on green are fun. Highly recommend.
One time on quake 4 or 5 of us went for it, I didnt get fte but the player who did died really fast. Was mayhem in the sewers,I think vessel leveled up he made so many bodies.

That's something I've never thought of before. Single epic mobs like that on quakes. If there are PHs is it just treated as a new spawn and there's a chance either the epic mob or the PH spawns?

Nobody likes the bottleneck of VD, why not just join the club and help out to get your rod in no time instead of arguing about who gets to decide what. Seriously apply your own argument to yourself. Who gives you the right to dictate what a camp is except the camp holders? Every enchanters finishing their epic without paying someone plat is somehow morally wrong because you said so? Go on Quarm you can probably pop VD as needed.

I present myself in an IRL way so you know that I’m not a child before explaining my point of view on what is happening on the blue server of P99.
My name is Raymond and I am 51 years old. Yes, you read correctly, I was born on September 5, 1973 and I am far from a teenager who gets his little crisis.
I am Belgian and so I only speak French and I use a translator to write this post so sorry if sometimes it is not very well translated.


I will first put things in place and in order. I arrived on the Blue server 6 months ago , not measuring English and not knowing
people on the server and so I created my very first and unique Claritis character an enchanter turned 59 this day. Very quickly I met a person
wonderful on the server that a member of the RIOT guild and who has more than 12 characters 60 full equipped ( which is perfectly his right ) and who is the since the
creation of the blue server. In 6 months I met a lot of people and connected with many of them and 80% are members of the RIOT guild.
All as adorable in the game as out on discord . They are all senses the slightest adorable exception and always ready to help others. I enjoyed so much
this guild that I was waiting to be 60 to apply for membership. I also decided to start making my epic and wanted to do it alone
and with my friends in the game so as not to depend on a guild to get my epic ( of style I apply in the biggest server guilds and hop they will make my epic for me ) and
That’s not the point. I think when you join a guild it’s to help them and not necessarily the opposite from the start.

Well, here we are now that I have set the stage for MY big problem.
I started with Verina tomb because I’m dark elf and so easy to see every day if she is present or not .
But she is level 60 and it’s impossible to kill her alone being an enchanter even lvl 60.
So I asked my friend for help and he came along with other members of RIOT to help me.
I found it beautiful and I thanked them , the next day the same players helped me to kill the big monkey on his island ( Tangrine )
and the I said to myself as we are not far away why not do Vessel!! And the one RIOT member told me, oh no for that you have to go through a band on Discord .
I thought it was a joke at first because I don’t see why ask permission to a group of people the permission to kill Vessel!
So to be able to see when Vessel is present I mounted an iksar shaman level 5 to go into the room easily where Vessel is.


When I arrive in his room I see a monk on the ground who pretends death. I say normal , he check like me Vessel to see when it will be present, and so every day I will look in the room.
But only when I connect to the game and play for a few hours during the day. But every time I connect into the piece, the monk is always there.
Not normal, I do not know a human who lives 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without stopping! Then I remembered what the RIOT player had told me.
I started to inquire and I ended up discovering that this Discord group exists well and I’m registered there to see how it went at them and for that I made a request
like all other players, and I understood that there were rules, and that it was not a simple group of people but a real and large complete organization which prohibit for example among others

As someone who got their rod before the Sewer Club, trust me....you do not want to be in a world without it.

Socking 5 days straight, then racing against several other enchanters to get a solo kill while deprived of sleep.

I'll take a bit of teamwork to make this game healthier any day.

The best part about the epic quests is a lot of them had different designers, and the consequential difficulty was so varied... would love to get my old necro his epic. But in that time I feel like I could accumulate 10 shaman or rogue epics :D

Poaching was a big theme in early Qeynos area, including a lore drop that Talym Shoontar is a big dog in the poaching world, and that he visits Qeynos presumably for fencing his ill gotten pelts to a particular merchant.

Perhaps it is just an unfinished arc, but I believe we are intended to discover either Talym's own big boss man, or the merchant they are working with (presumably a tailor?) who will then either share the secrets of Superb tailoring, or offer a quest in which they will trade rewards for Superb hides.

I do wonder what is up with the NPCs that wander to Qeynos - I get that there is just showcasing of worldbuilding to demonstrate that there is a flow of goods between Highpass and Qeynos, but I feel like these NPCs have something to them that makes them more than just 'there'. Like we're meant to interact with them in some way beyond just watching.
