Optional Files Update

We are releasing an optional files update that addresses two known issues:

- Fixed issue with getting kicked back to login screen when trying to log into the game using newer CPU's (Thanks Secrets for the help with this one).
- The FPS Options Slider will now function again.

Is there anyway of sorting this? Logged in this morning and received the unknown error, multiple time. Saw the post here and downloaded the optional patch. Still getting the multiple unknown errors.

I woke up trying to log in and i keep getting an unknown error occurred while trying to join the server. Didi the update and still having the same issue. any help at all available?

Couldn't log in so installed the update. After update I was able to log in but frame rate was like 1fps, hotkeys were gone, couldn't camp. Reinstalled the whole thing fresh. Still cant log in

Deleted and reinstalled the titanium client again. Installed v59 and replaced the dsetup.dll file with the one from v56 and everything works.

Talk about Christmas at Thanksgiving... just checked with my Ryzen 7700X and I no longer have to do my work around I've been doing for the last two years. This new patch looking great :D

I was playing last night no problem, go to sign in today and nothing but unknown errors. Have re-started the client 10-12 times, downloaded new patch files and transfered, restarted PC twice.. still cant get in. Whats going on?:mad:

Attempted to install three times. Restarted computer. Still getting "unknown error". Any suggestions other than a complete reinstall?

Haven't been able to log in either. Just keep getting "Unknown Error" messages as well. Hope this will be resolved soon

Yeah, same issue here. Newer processor, had no problems logging in today all day, this evening "Unknown Error". Tried new patch, same message.

using this patch cause very low FPS, no difference setting to 10 or 100 fps in game, feels like 1 or 2 fps, /camp stop at 30sec, need to /q
V58 patch make it run normal again
i'm using M1 imac with parallel desktop

Oops, disregard my original message! Looks like I'm able to get back in. Opened and closed the program a few times and seems we're good to go!

FOR THOSE HAVING ISSUES LOGGING IN:

Hope i'm not breaking any rules but there is a 3rd party app, PIGPARSE. Google it, download it. The Icon is a pig. load this before EQ, in the system tray, go to SETTINGS. check on the icon, you will see a box that says "log in with middleman", check that box and then try running eq. There is also another way to fix it w/out using pigparse but you have to also change your EQ.txt file here as well but manually. The info is out there on the web. Look for "middleman". Had 4 friends that live near me, that had the same issues. Missed out on some double xp but happy to just be able to play.
