If you setup middlemand it gets around this problem and you'll always be able to login
Its worth the few minutes with how often this happens

I had this problem before. Worked around it by installing Middlemand.
And now today it's happening again, while Middlemand is still installed and running.

Do you see only p99 servers or all servers on the list? If you see all servers, middlemand is not installed correctly

Interesting!
I'm seeing all the servers.
EDIT : in fact, installing the latest patch replaced the change to eqhost.txt that are needed for Middlemand.
After editing it again as explained here : https://github.com/rm-you/p99-login-middlemand/releases
I'm able to log in .
Thanks !

Interesting!
I'm seeing all the servers. I'll see if there's something wrong with the Middlemand installation.
Youll have to edit your eqhost.txt to point to localhost instead of the eqemu login server:
[LoginServer]
#Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998
Host=localhost:5998
It's a good idea to leave original in by commenting it out like above.

Most likely its the eqhost.txt which is one of the files in the patches.
So everytime you patch it will undo middlemand

Would be exceptionally cool to not have to install other stuff and muck with files just to login, though.

Yeah that's what happened after updating the last patch. Now I'll remember to restore it after patching.

I mean why don't they just fix this crap instead of forcing us to find a workaround sigh
I assume the error goes away eventually?

Usually it resolves itself within an hour or two
I just add middlemand loading in the Launch titanium.bat so its a permanent solution with no extra steps when logging in
