CSR Staffing Updates!

Greetings, all!

I wanted to touch base and share some updates regarding the CSR staffing on our P99 servers.

2024 was a very busy and successful year for the CSR team. Our small-but-mighty group of volunteer Guides, Senior Guides and GM’s closed over 25,000 petitions. We also wrote, partnered with the P99 dev team, and executed multiple special events across the servers, including the Halloween and Holiday seasonal events. And much, much more!

However, even with all of the incredible work by the team, we are still in a place where our petition queues are backed up longer than we would like. Additionally, many of our most complex petitions (for example, raid petitions) wind up delayed due to bottlenecks, partly due to a “decision by committee” with a larger group than is actually needed.

To help try to tackle some of these challenges, I am implementing a new staff position of “Server GM” and “Server Sr Guide”. These are members of our CSR leadership team who will have primary accountability to a single server. This is different from the current model, where every member of the leadership team (GM’s & Seniors) focus on everything. These leaders will be responsible for all petition types within their server, including escalations, reimbursements, raid petitions, and more.

The new server leadership teams will consist of:

P99 Blue:
Server GM: Visceryn
Server Sr. Guide: Razlog

P99 Green:
Server GM: Blistig
Server Sr. Guide: Vordae

Support for P99 Red will be continue to be shared across both teams for the time being.

Official rules and policies will continue to be aligned across the servers, so I will maintain ownership of these at the Lead GM level. I will also continue to be available as a final point of appeal, when necessary.

Pretty wild, that breaks down to almost 70 petitions per calendar day, given the size of the player base that means that on average every player puts in a petition every 20 days approximately (would inpute about 1,400 daily active users which is generous at this point and actually probably worse than 1 in 20 days).

I dropped a tink bag, so my other char can pick up but it poofed. This was in a area thats secluded, nobody around. Can i get this back?

First, this isn't the right area to ask that.

Second, why would you drop a 5k item on the ground for xfer - seclusion isn't necessarily the best if a zone is empty, and there are NPCs in certain zones that will pick up items that are on the ground (and will not drop them when killed).

No wonder they have so many petitions to deal with.

Items dropped on the ground disappear after about 6 minutes and 30 seconds. If you plan to do a drop tranfer, you want both characters to be in the same location so you burn as little time as possible switching between them and picking up the item.

Personally I never drop transfer expensive items. Just ask for a transfer in tunnel. Nobody steals your items. They'll get punished for that. I've done quite a few drop transfers over the years, and it's always smaller value items I won't hate to lose.
