Ok I'll bite.

IF they're working on a pvp box, wouldn't you want them to hold off for when it's ready as opposed to putting a bad taste in everyone's mouth if it's broken as all hell?

For the record I loved pvp and would play on a pvp box, but the community as a whole does need to grow up, no one wants to babysit like it is now.

As former eqlive pvpers, we are used to the devs ignoring us. But at least there they fed us empty promises and would check back every once in a while to pretend to pay us some attention. Here it really DOES seem as though the pvp forums were made just to appease the masses of blue folk that don't like us cool kids.

I am pretty sure red99 never existed considering none of the devs ever mentioned making it. Instead it was a rumor that was built up from an offhand comment that rogean made. What ensued was a few comments from red players, which led to more red players getting hyped up and then more comments, etc. So its not dead, the idea just never existed.

well, figure that they the devs, have alot to still finish for kunark alone, and then start on velious

been on the vz/tz server a lil bit, done a few fights for being close to classic classic eq, its not too bad besides a few cheaters and no gms there

You would be right if I hadn't got Null and Rogean talking, if Null wasn't given a developer title on the forums, and if Null recently informed that Rogean snubbed the final steps Null needed(p99 source) in order to make red99 happen.

well figuring they (rogean) has the original coding, for orig eq areas, wouldnt be too hard to release it, but guessing that some of the coding would need tweaking to pvp, always been a pve'r on eq, but enjoy pvp on other mmo's
