For too long, a vile plague has ravaged Norrath, unchecked and insidious, inflicting wounds upon our people—be they fiscal, political, or bodily. This scourge, left to fester, imperils all we hold dear. Now, in this hour of reckoning, we must unite as one, ere it grows too late, to sever this malignancy at its root and cast it into oblivion!
You, wise and discerning champions of Norrath, know well the true name of this menace: the Gnomes of Ak’Anon. These diminutive fiends, cloaked in guile, creep into our homes under cover of night, pilfering the very socks from our feet—nay, the left ones alone!—leaving us bereft of comfort and stability to face the dawn. From their accursed mountain stronghold, they weave schemes to amass ill-gotten wealth through deceit and trickery. Their machinations sow discord among our sacred guilds, fracturing the bonds of fellowship. Most heinous of all, credible reports attest to their cruelty: shoving innocent wood elf orphans from the lofty platforms of Kelethin, unseen by watchful eyes.
The case against these miscreants is clear, and the time for action is upon us! I call upon you, noble guilds of Norrath, to join Venerate in a righteous crusade to topple the Gnomish Hordes of Ak’Anon.
