As a complete newbie who wants to play this game again, what are the most important chat commands?

I read that if you type in /corpse or something like that, you can pick up the items from your dead corpse from far away. What exactly do I have to type in?

What about whispering to another player. Is it /tell ? What do I have to type in? And what more is there to know in terms of chat commands? Make a list please to help new players like me.

(And /corpse doesn't pick up your items, it just moves your corpse closer to you IF it's not too far away.)

So true.

This server has plenty of assholes who felt the need to name their character something like Illiillilili. As much as I hate them for doing that, I still want to be able to send them a tell about that cheap tunnel item they're selling (without having to guess umpteen different combinations of "L" and "I" ).

/qui for your "quick" spellbook. Has your most used spells, huge QOL over the normal spellbook.

As of 3 months ago P99 doesn't do this, but Live does.

Curious!

it's /who all count for the number of players logged in to the server

/who count will only do anything if a person named count happens to be in your zone.

Nuh uh. On Live /who count displays the number of people in the zone you're in without any names. They broke the count "mask" (that's what they called the modifiers in the manual) at some point, possibly in development even.

I'm trying to get loramin to report this as non-classic on P99 but he's ignoring me, which I totally understand.

This was inarticulate but I think a person of average intelligence can easily understand what I'm getting at.
