I'm just posting this screenshot so y'all don't think I'm the only idiot this happened to. It was basically to fix the problem without sending the motherboard to Taiwan to have it repaired, but it was a $50 motherboard, so I just ordered a new motherboard and went ahead and upgraded my processor while I was at it. But I had to re-install windows and now I don't have P99 installed and I don't even remember how to install it because it's been like 7 years  I was going to try to log in and buff noobs in Oasis or something since the WoW servers are down for maintenance, but I can't even find a copy of EQ titanium anymore.

The moral of the story is: if you want to play BF6 - be careful; I doubt the game is even that much fun. I don't even want to play it based off of principle at this point.

i tried that dozens of times, removing the battery, even shorting the cmos drain pins on the board, tried different graphics cards... wouldnt post... i tried it with no graphics card... and it did post, but since my processor has no integrated video i couldnt see anything.... i could tell it booted up though because it wasnt flickering off and on like it was when it was failing to post...

no q flash button... not worth paying someone to de-solder it since its a cheap ass mother board, but damn thats frustrating, especailly since it happened on a weekend and knocked me out of gaming with my friends etc
