View Full Version : Last Patch Caused Issues with IP Exemption logging in

So when the last patch dropped, it caused something to break in regards to IP exemptions. My kiddo struggles to login while I am logged in. He gets "failed to connect" message at login screen, or a blank server select.

If I log out entirely, he is able to log straight in without any issues, then I can login and we can play just fine. But if he logs out for any reason, I have to logout as well before he can get back in.

Sounds like the patch might have changed how session tokens are handled for exempted IPs. When both accounts share the same IP, only one gets validated.
You can try this:

Clear the login cache for both accounts.
Re-create the IP exemption entries manually in the settings.
Restart the server/service after saving the exemption list.
After doing that, both logins should work simultaneously again.
