Dial A Port (if you see one on) will usually port you for free if you're a newbie...the other problem is getting a bind when you get there of course :)

This. Guild members are generally happy to port other guild members.

With blue's lower population, there are also less dial a port members online.

Been playing on Green. While there are more people, it's just as isolated. Wife and I joined a starter guild and it's little more than a chat room. 95% are solo'ing. Years in they run around with really good gear.

Since my wife and I just started, zero cash. Barely afford spells. In fact missing a bunch. minimal gear meaning mana pools are really small.

Was thinking we might return to blue. At least I have high level toons to camp gear and have plat. Maybe....

There are 3 of us looking to get a trio started on green. I don't think any of us have anything there at all. Fresh naked start.

Really just depends on your desired outcomes, if you're just going to do solo/group content then yeah blue seems like the obvious choice since you already have stuff there.

If you have any interest in raiding/guild diversity/competition than its better to invest your time on green.

I have a Dial A Port druid on blue at least, will try to get on more this week...sounds like the porters have abandoned their posts
