My understanding the belt is not effective with a Fungi because the Fungi reaches the regen cap by itself. But what about using the belt with the Ceremonial Iksar Chestplate? Is this a viable combination?

https://wiki.project1999.com/Buff_Lines#HP_Regeneration - This page has more stacking info than anyone needs :D

Long story short: different regen types (see page) do stack, but regen caps at 15 .. so stacking doesn't matter once you wear a fungi: you're capped. It only matters for (say) Iki BP + something else.

However Aura of Battle is not considered regen, even though part of what it adds is 2 (I think) regen. Multiple AoB should stack, but it doesn't here (unsure if that's timeline appropriate or just P99 "selectively classic").

Adding it all up 15 (from Fungi or a combo of other items) + 2 from AoB is the true max ... and I think the belt you mentioned is AoB so it should stack.

Did DSM add a regen calculator?

Thank you for the quick response. However, the link you sent seems to contradict your 15+2 true max statement.

"NOTE: While multiple worn regeneration items do stack, they have a combined maximum of 15 HP/tick regeneration. As such, there is no additional (regeneration) benefit to wearing a Fungus Covered Scale Tunic AND a (non-chest) Aura of Battle item, as the Fungi alone will already hit the regen cap."

I am left scratching my head. Has anyone actually tested this?

No, it doesn't. Apologize for lying to that kid.

The belt is worn atk + worn regen effect, not the same as the spell version. 15 is worn regen cap. 15 + 2 = 17. Fungi and belt do not stack for regen. For your other question: is 5 + 2 less than 15? Yes. They stack. And you can stack other worn AoBs to get a mini-fungi effect without having to wear that awful tunic if you spend way too much time in a raiding guild.

I am left scratching my head. Has anyone actually tested this? There's no reason to test it. Sometimes people who have been playing forever will give authoritative sounding wrong as fuck answers. Worn regen cap is 15. Fungi is 15. Aura of battles do stack with other things. Thank you for your question.

Now that's what I call an authoritative right as fuck answer!

On P99 AoB stacks, both the worn HP Regen component (assuming you aren't capped at 15 worn HP Regen) and the ATK compoment.

Here are two clear examples:

1. A person wearing a Fungi (15 worn HP Regen) + 3 AoB (2 worn HP Regen and +10 ATK) items = 15 worn HP Regen and +30 ATK.

2. A person wearing Ceremonial Iksar Chestplate (5 worn HP Regen) + 3 AoB (2 worn HP Regen and +10 ATK) items = 11 worn HP Regen and +30 ATK.

Yes. I have multiple AoB items, and a Fungi.

Did DSM add a regen calculator?

Luckily all existing calculators have basic addition built in:)

Apologies, on live AoB stacked (including multiple). Here I thought one stacked (separately from regen), but I guess pre-Luclin AoB didn't stack (separately).

Should have read my own page more carefully :o

P.S. I'm not 100% sure this is classic. I remember wanting to get AoB on live to stack with my fungi (it's why I did SWC quest when no one else did on live). I found the bug for this, https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php%3Ft%3D276447&ved=2ahUKEwji-s3DhciUAxXaHEQIHRXNEhEQrAJ6BAglEAU&usg=AOvVaw30SlLn3PdU8xasM2GbNH8i, and in it I even found some evidence of parts of the claim ... but the only evidence of them not stacking was player memory (sus).

P.P.S. If anyone could find evidence of stacking we could fix this ...
