I had the game up and running, however once when I logged in I had a message that my spell book was out dated. I tried to fix it, then whenever I log in I crash just before I get to character selection.

The message I am getting is after selecting the p-1999 server and clicking, "play Everquest"
It read:
The instruction at 0x10001c6b referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be read.
Then I click ok and it shuts down.

Does anyone have ANY idea what is going on, or ran into this themselves. I deleted and uninstalled my EQ Titanium and re-installed it and am still getting this message.

What gets me is that it was running with few hitches and then this when trying to update the spell book.

Any input appreciated. Thank-you!

Basically had the same problem. Tried alot of fixes, but none of them seemed to work. So i turned my computer off and was going to worry about it later. After about an hour I turned my computer back on and the game loaded fine. I'm sure their is a legit fix for the problem, but that's what worked for me

Vista Home Premium 32 Bit.

I used to play wow and remember a problem with vista and games in Program Files. It wouldn't delete outdated UIs. I was thinking maybe the game wasn't REALLY uninstalling. Thoughts?

I'm not sure how but it has been resolved...

I ran the windows system restore to a time previous to my problem... then it wouldn't start up at all, I got some GUI somthingsomethinsomethin error, (it was very late and I was so frustrated I didn't take note of it or save what the error message was) I then ran the my Titanium installer and told it to "repair" Re-ran Duxa's all in one installer tool, and it worked. The game started fine, loaded fine, and I was able to play.

If ANY of this makes sense to someone that cares to explain it without too much technical lingo, that would be great, but all I know is that it has been resolved. Thank-you for your time.
