Seriously Impressed by Project 1999....

I just started playing here on Project 1999. It is AMAZINGLY fun to me. I actually haven't had this much fun in an MMO since Kunark and Velious.

I think it's because Classic EQ is actually HARD. You really have to apply yourself and be on your toes to make it. It's not EZ mode like some newer MMOs.

So, hats off to Project 1999 developers and supporters. You have done/are doing a fantastic job.

The server is great as are the vast majority of the players. There are some people who are never happy unless they ruin the fun of others but they aren't that prevalent on P1999.

Welcome, someone made a somewhat classic UI at some point. When you dig trough the technical section you should find it, Velious UI is also aviable.

I completely agree! I tried going back to live a few times and felt a part of me die inside each time. It was so sad when I logged on and ran to my favorite old world zones (Like Qeynos) and found it completely empty of players.

haha. I agree with you all. I haven't had this much fun in forever. I can't believe I've spent about 6 hours getting to level 5 - and DAMN it feels like accomplishment. Makes me think all the other games out there are for the handicapped.

I just wish I had as many hours per day to play as I did in the summers during high school.

It's an excellent server and it makes me wish previous red servers could have gotten near the same level of quality.
