Question about a Questable Sword that summons a Pet

Edit: The final version of the sword doesn't exist on this server
as far as i can tell. Resolved. Will attempt to acquire the final
version however if it does exist.

on a seperate topic, I've already seen Deity-aligned gear, a Innoruuk caster necklace which i thought didn't exist but apparently do.

Halfway completed the quest for the "Gnoll Slayer" all i have to
do is get a Journal of Greater Enchantment from a gnoll deep
within Paw. Killed him once but he didn't drop it. Someone
said Bane damage didn't exist until Luclin - so, if i did
quest this item to its final version, what are the stats going
to be like? it lets you summon a pet. Would that be on there too?

Edit: can confirm bane damage doesn't exist, but still don't
know what the finalized version is like.

To my understanding a previous patch took out the summoned pet version. They replaced it with the garbage version that is like 6 dmg 28 delay or some crap like that. I have not seen any updates , though sometimes they do things mysteriously and announce them later. My guess tho is it's still the crappy version.

So, do you think if i hand in the peices for the final version...

1. i'll receive the quest items and the sword back the way it orginally was.

2. Not receive the quest items and recieve the first version of the sword back.

or maybe a 15/40 gnoll slayer without the summon pet/bane damage?

I want to say the 6/28 sword with no bane damage or pet click was the best version you could get till Luclin or later. It was changed later on because the weapon was such garbage for the amount of work the quest was.
