A little while later I asked him for a SoW figuring he must be a ranger. Turned out he was a warrior. I had to double check some books to confirm that was actually possible and he wasn't just pulling my leg.

There was a long running joke on Brell similar to that. This particular Wood Elf Warrior was always referred to as a Ranger...guess you had to be there.

I was a halfling rogue throughout my EQ career, and every once in a while just for fun I would put on a suit of leather, a rusty scimitar, and a shield and put on /role. Whenever anyone asked me for SoW I would /em "Nubben's spell fizzles" a few times in a row, then tell them sorry, out of mana.

When the half-elf exclaimed that he wasn't a Ranger I made sure to send a tell to the enchanter saying that he was just joking and still needed C. =P

When I was leveling up in my Robe of the Oracle I'd get asked a LOT for Clarity...even when running around with my pet right there.

Best ones are when an Enchanter/Wizard clicks an AoN and just kinda sits there with lev on so they can hide.

Those combos came during Velious or Luclin iirc. They were not options during classic/kunark
