Last year of university is upon me and i've decided Everquest, while awesome, is just too much of a time sink. My only further goal was to see and raid Veeshan's Peak with my awesome guildies in TMO but that is just not feasible, trak teeth and VP raiding require a level of dedication that just is not in the cards for me.

I want to truly thank all the staff for giving me a second run through classic Everquest, you guys are just unbelievable with the dedication and effort you invest for nothing in return.

To all the players that made this second eq romp what it was; Anleus (haha where to next for us bro, glad it turned out this way :p), Swishahouse, Skirty, Chewboy, Reince, Tankenstein, Eyeke, Leoric, Saiene, Imran, Benaz, Ossomorte, SteveDarkwood, Loly, Zeelot, Marley, Bob, Lillo, Shinedown, Riley, the peeps who always stopped by to chill and shoot the shit at T2, just too many people to name really but cheers to you all. To any i forgot/left out <3 you too! Been a packed few years!

I've given away most of my crap by this point, but i've got some left. If you want/need pp or gear to sell, whatever, just post why in this thread and make it entertaining for people to read if possible, i'll choose people randomly and give out what i have left.

I only recall one encounter with you Haggle... in EC you randomly gave me, a perfect stranger a tell to hold several thousand platinum for a transfer. I was fresh and ripe on the server playing my rogue Hoggle and you asked ME to hold all that money. I was amazed you were able to just trust somebody like that. I say this because on live back in 2001 I was burned by doing the exact same thing. I gave a perfect stranger high end gear to transfer to a fresh bard of mine and he logged with it all. The GM never gave me my equipment back and that ended my experience with EQ1 until my recent months on project1999. Well of course I gave you your platinum and you generously gave me a nice tip in exchange for the transfer which got me on my feet so I thank you for that!

As far as I can tell you were a class act and we could use more of you around. Good luck in your last year, I wish I had had the sense you are displaying in your pursuit of education to drop this game.

I have a Wiz in my early 50s and would not be adversed if you have some GEBs if you got them or some PP to help me buy some. The argument I can put forth is that it will be very beneficial for me to have them it will not be massively game altering. Giving stuff to brand new players can lessen some of the experience of the difficulty in playing old school EQ.

As far as help I could use some:
If you are able to help I have an iksar necro Lizarus, level 10. Been struggling leveling since he is completely broke, can't afford spells. Starting again is a huge learning curve, I only recently realized that there is a meditate skill I had to train, died somewhere at level 1 and never found my newbie robe. Another time got an invis, conned some mob and due to invis was indifferent. Removed my invis to chat with it, and well had a trip to graveyard. Been a fun yet difficult experience so far. Half the time people think I'm a monk because my toon is a naked lizard.

Last year of university is upon me and i've decided Everquest, while awesome, is just too much of a time sink. My only further goal was to see and raid Veeshan's Peak with my awesome guildies in TMO but that is just not feasible, trak teeth and VP raiding require a level of dedication that just is not in the cards for me.

I want to truly thank all the staff for giving me a second run through classic Everquest, you guys are just unbelievable with the dedication and effort you invest for nothing in return.

To all the players that made this second eq romp what it was; Anleus (haha where to next for us bro, glad it turned out this way :p), Swishahouse, Skirty, Chewboy, Reince, Tankenstein, Eyeke, Leoric, Saiene, Imran, Benaz, Ossomorte, SteveDarkwood, Loly, Zeelot, Marley, Bob, Lillo, Shinedown, Riley, the peeps who always stopped by to chill and shoot the shit at T2, just too many people to name really but cheers to you all. To any i forgot/left out <3 you too! Been a packed few years!

I've given away most of my crap by this point, but i've got some left. If you want/need pp or gear to sell, whatever, just post why in this thread and make it entertaining for people to read if possible, i'll choose people randomly and give out what i have left.

All the best wishes to everyone on the server going forward. I'm thinking this second chance at classic eq will not come again, enjoy it while it lasts!
