Leveling Guide....

I was kinda curious if someone with a few more seasons could maybe put a leveling guide on here.
Possibly the better zones to level in and the best places to get groups.
level 1-50.

Also any tips you might have for reaching levels quicker such as quest turn ins like the CB Belts and stuff.

Here's what I did:

1-5 GFAY
5-10 Crushbone
10-16 Oasis
16-23 Uguk
23-28ish HHK
30ish-36 Oggok guards
36-50 Sol B

[Taluvill]

1-5: Newb zone
5-13 or so: close dungeon or close zone (IE: Crushbone/NRO/Blackburrow, etc)
13-17-18: Oasis. Unrest works well if you can get there untwinked. Can ride Unrest through 24 if you want to.

20+: Sol A. Uguk. MM entrance.
33-34+: Lguk, Possibly Sol B if your lucky. Kedge if your smart, but its very tough.

40+: Sol B all the way to 50. Possibly the lower parts of Lguk.

This is basically a grouping guide. Solo/duo classes have much more freedom.

I prefer to hunt for xp and drops at the same time. This is why I liked Kunark sooooo much with the random drops in zones and shit.. This list is based on certain droppables in high exp areas. You gotta figure your own level ranges out, but if I had an agenda to get high level and decently geared quickly, this is the order of zones I'd hit:

Nub Zone/Dungeon
Unrest
Mistmoore
Sol A
LGuk

Sol A gnomes WILL get you to 48, but I recommend leaving in favor of LGuk around 42..

Honestly, you hardly need to go anywhere else to completely outfit and level up almost any class of character.

UGuk doesn't make it onto my list. There are hardly any late-game items @ exp camps (squire sucks for xp), and the risk vs. reward ratio for UGuk exp is poor imo.

hello there brut!....60 fangs geez...thats like clearing the whole zone at least 10 times (if you are lucky, less)

id prefer to grind the normal way at that level...less headaches besides the raging newbies u are taking their mobs from :D

For me, really similar to Morlaeth's (since we leveled together). I spent a bit more time in Sol A though.. also, did 46-50 almost exclusively in PoHate/Kedge because I'm lazy. Raid exp ftw.

leveled all my toons from 25 (entrance area) up to 50 in paw on tzvz (ishva camp, northern part and at the rogue weap camp on higher lvls up to 50)

Kunark was out by the time I got to 35 on live, so I started going there mostly, after that.

Oasis sucks! I always wondered why so many people like to level the teens there- the money is mediocre at best, and it's full of randomly wandering (and trained) high level mobs. Seems if you want a group between 12 and 20 though, you will probably have to go there.

This guide maximizes the bonus EXP found in dungeons (except WC) - good way to go! I'm 12 in Befallen right now.

i think kedge keep for 40~50 is better than sol b......only group in solb ive been in is window and its not that great

Kedge has the highest ZEM in game, this is true. It's to make up for the impracticability of the zone.

There are so many different options honestly.

Solo versus group makes a huge difference in choices as well.
Theer are many outdoor areas that a small group can constantly single pull and destroy red con mobs (like a group in their high teens killing aviaks in SK). which is amazing exp despite not being in a dungeon and also easy because you get no additional aggro, don't need CC and all the mobs are melee only.

I loved Kedge for 40-50 in classic, but could never find anyone to go with me. Kunark was also out by the time I was that level, so most were doing Karnor's or COM at that level.

Anything of the above guides till 24~.

Halfling guards till 43ish quad at 34
Can choose to repair inside RV faction with around 400 or so quest bandage turn ins straight up to ally.

44-50 quad specs.

At around 10pp in items and money per kill on the guards n specs, buy every item pre-raid a druid could want.

I was going to try out SK Aviaks, but wasn't sure if anyone actually grouped there or not. I remember back on Live, so many people camping every point of the Aviaks. I was so happy when I was able to finally get into the Avocet camp. :)

I think the population is low enough though that Aviaks may not be camped that much.

The few times I have run by to go to Paw, I have only seen single or duo's camping them, no full groups.

Aviaks in South Karana were a lot of fun to hunt back in '99, primarily because they had no faction (always conned dubious), though they were social and assisted each other. Unfortunately, last I checked, the SK aviaks have a faction hit on P99.

The OOT aviaks were recently changed, so perhaps the South Karana aviaks will eventually be changed back to no-faction classic as well.

I remember them having no faction also, i killed them on my monk, i remember being the only person in group who could sneak, so while everyone else filled their bags and couldn't sell, i was still looting and using sneak to sell to the vendor behind the big bird house. good money :D
