View Full Version : Game Mechanics: incorrect see invis mobs for classic

there are a lot of mobs in the game that see invis when they didnt on classic and vice versa. for example imps near efreeti djarn currently see invis where they did not back in the day, harbingers ushers and so on in mistmoore do not see invis when they did on classic.

Pretty sure only casters saw invis.

i'll check this momentarily on Al'kabor...

Ok had time to check this:

All the Lava Guardians, and all the Imp Protectors are KOS and See invisi, they also have a much larger agro radius then the kobolds/bugs.

I think the only mobs in MM that ever saw invis were the undead. I think some of the confusion for this usually stems from the "jail" room behind the graveyard. People always give random examples of how their invis popped when they walk through the false walls etc but that only occurs when the mobs in the jail pop undead. *shrug*

Lava Guardians and Imp Protectors will have a slightly larger agro radius. More Lava Guardians will see invis.

The rest of the concerns touched on are WAD.
