yes, but you dont know me =)
imo its one of the better mmos for pve. good storyline (obviously haha), good music/sound effects and an interesting playerbase since the average age is much higher than most other mmos. moria is/was an amazing expansion. unfortunately i dont think the future releases will be as good as moria since turbine sold out to time warner but i have yet to check out what isengard has to offer.
see ya in game!

Yup. Have a Lifetime Sub from pre-launch. But I'm an MMO Gypsy and can't stick with one game for any amount of time. I'm still working through Moria w/ my Warden (lv 55 atm).

Tried the free trial last year, it fucking blew. Couldn't get into it at all.

I played from Beta, but haven't played it in around 3 years or so I guess. The PvP was fun when the game was new, then went down hill fast. Wardens are awesome, but they were extremely under-played when they were first added into the game. Pretty amazing solo class unless they have been changed.

still amazing solo, i've been taking on fellowship quests by myself, skirmishes are cake.
PvP is really stale now that you have to pay to use more than just Reavers, but the PvE is pretty damn good.

Yep, open field type PvP was pretty amazing. Creeps ended up getting a bit too buffed up IMO. I made a Warg at some point and got to Rank 6 with 0 deaths just to prove the point. Most creep players expected to be as powerful as freeps as soon as they created their monsters, although freeps had to level to cap and then get gear to be any good in the Moors. Then they added trolls... really started going down hill from there.
I was highest rated PvP on my server for a pretty long time, was fun while it lasted.

I played LOTRO for a few years with my old friends from college (we're spread out around the country now, so it was our way of keeping in touch). The game was really fun til max level, then there is like NO content. Its awesome casual gaming, but I got pretty bored with it...

I was on Nim too... have a 60 Burg and a 60 Ranger. Haven't been on since I found p99 though... let my account lapse. My toons were Rickets and Starbuck

Starbuck sounds vaguely familiar. I bought the Isengard expansion but havent even downloaded it yet lol. Only bought the preorder to get the 25% exp bonus for all characters up to lvl 65. Works on characters you havent made yet as well. Good game, just you spend a lot of time by yourself it seems like.

Depends on the server. Brandywine is packed and kinships do skirmishes non stop

Im in a kinship, but you dont have to group with anyone in the game, which is kind of a bummer. Ive pretty much soloed the whole time except for some elite quests. My favorite thing is the legendary weapons. Pretty cool concept imo.

There's no variety in LOTRO.
The classes are just cookie-cutter MMO classes and there's only what, 6 of them?
Terrible fucking game.

If you're that ignorant to the game stop commenting on it. There's 9 classes, all of which are pretty unique compared to something like wow and they're all dedicated roles.
