I was level 30ish running down from HHP in EK. I saw Tarbul was up and Nukku had helped me with a quick item regarding the mage epic before. I shot Nukku a /tell and he said he was indisposed at the time and to try someone else. So, I saw another BDA mage on, Dscott. I shot him a /tell and at the time he was in WC. He responded with, "Ya, I'll help you, brt".

He ran all the way over, summoned the 60 water pet and pwnd the mob and I got Rain of Karana. I had a short convo with him and D said he only needed the Earth staff to complete his epic. That was months ago. I am very happy to see someone willing to help others succeed in game. It makes me proud to be part of BDA.

Another strong weekend for BDA. Some HoT farming, a few Vindi kills, we had a 3am Dain attempt but couldn't finish the job with 40 people, plus Silverwing, Xygoz, a Noble, and Vox.

We also learned a lot by bashing our head against the wall that is Hoshkar (we hadn't fought him since the resist change) but that jerk dies next time.

Spawn times were rough this week with a lot of AM and overnight pops but we still put work in. Got a Trakanon, a Trakanot (UDB kill), a few server first minis in Hate and Fear, a server first Inny 2.0, Nagafen, an 8 man Vox kill, Velketor, and Xygoz. Plus there was all the usual HoT farming, Vindi kills, and we almost had our 2nd Tormax kill but couldn't get the pull in quick enough.

the one saving grace for this for the smaller guilds was that he might of been the "easier' trak. Any guild with sufficient power can get a trak kill. You know what the only requirement is. You've got to camp it like Taylor Swift camps attention: like a hawk. It's how the game works. For better or worse.

Yeah UDB isn't a raid target - and his variance is pretty small (only 4 hours). So just take your raid down there and wait while farming juggs and stuff.

Seeing someone like Deajay get an epic is the reason I stick around. It's never easy being the casual raiding guild. You don't get the bleeding edge content because the raid force doesn't want to wake up at 4am, or deal with the manchildren lawyerquest that goes on non stop. I've been guilded with Deajay for the better part of 3 years and he's always been an asset when he has the time to play and seeing him finally reach that epic without buying it or jumping to the other team really hits you in the feels. The pixels are always sweeter when you get them with your pals.

I know - we always make the SK who is getting the epic earn it by tanking and butt puckering.

I always tell them if they die - then they did not pass their epic test :( so it will be up to the RNG dice gods to decide a true winner :)

The hammer from west looks so much cooler than the sno cone. My SK looks like Ronan the Accusor.

Snow cone alone is better tank weapon than epic is. 100 HP 10 STA AND it lets you have a shield with 50-75 HP and 30-40 AC.

1h/shield is victory for Knights.
