had a deal fall through and the GBS is still available. I will take trades for part of the GBS but I need PP as well, I am not looking for high end items, I really have low end to newbie gear and would like to fill the most slots possible. +wis gear is my preference as I am a shaman :D.

That could very well be, market values of things arent too easy to predict at anytime though. Whats working against it in this instance is the fact that she is an even more rare spawn than she was on live. I used to get her to spawn 3 tmes a night, now I was lucky to see her once a night. With her not showing up as often, that means less GBS hit the market.

A good friend of mine just bought me a GBS for 10.5k. I thought that was quite a fair price. I have to agree that i saw some GBS getting sold for 13k over the last few weeks though!

But given the recent heavy camping (thanks partly to a particular Pyzjn how-to thread in rants and flames lol), i think there will be more GBS supplies coming into the market in the short to medium term.

I guess since the server is down I can switch the price to 14K here and see if some people wanna bid on it, auction house style. Its the closest I will come to the game til the server comes up and I can possibly trade the GBS so some lucky bidder.

Don't let them talk you down. I sold one a week ago for 12k. The buyer did not even attempt to negotiate the price.

I have also sold one, for 14k. The price was not negotiated at all, and the buyer was in relief to actually have found a GBS for sale.

The ones who say it's not worth over 10k are probably the ones who want to buy it and bringing the perceived market value of it down will help them buy it for cheaper :p

Everyone should try and get as much money for their stuff, the value of it depends on the saturation of said item in the market, and the sellers urgency to sell it :p A patient seller will probably get 12-16k for this i reckon.

It's a rare drop from a semi-rare spawn that was usually very contested, and only appears at night.

Also is the only item with the red glowy fist thing graphic till drachnid thyxl in kunark... of which having a gbs + the thyxl in offhand looks badass :p

so... it's an aesthetics thing.

I popped on that other "classic" server (its not, it has bots, 4x exp, wonky loot tables, etc.) I made a Ranger, zone out into Qeynos hills and right in front of me is Pyzjin. LOL. There wasn't anyone high enough to kill her and only a few people online at all.

Incorrect, actually the Orb of Tishan (see: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=84) has the same red glowing graphic and is droppable off of Nagafen pre-kunark. You can potentially look like a real badass right now!
