At what point do I tell the girl I have been seeing that I play an almost 12 year old video game, have a headset for said game and have bought a mini fridge so I don't have to walk to the garage for a beer because I don't want to go AFK?

Immediately if you value your virginity.

I don't tell them anything until they move in.

Then when they find out they move out. Not joking.

Take it from me, don't live together. Don't tell them.

if a relationship is broken because of hobbies it's not a very good one~

You either bring up video games in a very casual manner and if she is open to games, you mention you play one on occasion....that occasion happens to be every time you aren't with her, but she doesn't need to know that.

If she hates games...you are not going to make it.

Ask her if she'd consider dressing up as an elf for Halloween.

Ask her if she'd consider dressing up as a troll for Halloween.

Fixed to more accurately reflect the probability of a(n) (un)favorable outcome.

this rly shouldn't fucking matter unless you play 15 hours a day and act like a huge nerd about it

I think most guys in America play video games on occasion just like most guys watch sports sometimes or drink beer and play poker or do other shit that women aren't terribly interested in

it's ok bro

Actually, it's what Tom Leykis says. I don't get a new woman every week. In a relationship right now but i keep video games out of it

I reluctantly and embarrassingly told my gf that I played Everquest. She said, "it's okay I saw the box the first time I came to your apartment." Then I told her that I played an emulated version of Everquest.

She left me.

(Actually she didn't but she laughed p. damn hard for a few minutes because I actually had a truly embarrassed look on my face)

1. Stop treating your hobbies for fun like a heroin addiction.

2. ???

3. Profit

It all depends on how old the OP is. The older you and your girlfriend are, the less accepting she will be of you playing videogames.

Sucks, I know :(
