yeah well i traded a babs for a CoF thinking this haste and a shaman haste plus dex will make pretty nice procs, but i guess that does not happen in beta my flux blade axe did not proc once, and neither did my yak or anything else taht procs, proc

Thats because haste doesn't effect procs in the normal way. Slows = More Procs. Less Swings = Greater chance of a proc.

Theres a reason why everyone needed slows when they did EarthShaker runs.

That's not entirely true.

Procs without a modifier (generally every item in classic) have set-in-stone "proc per minute." So if you're hasted, you're hitting more times per minute, but proc "less" to stay within the same average amount of procs as you would when un-hasted.

Shakerpaging was accomplished through the Rampage AA which allowed a warrior to auto-riposte every attack. When you're 75% slowed, your proc rate increases by 75% to bring you to the "average." The exploit is that this only evens out procs when using auto attack.

Thus, Turgur's Insects increases your chance to proc by 75%. This carries over to riposting.

A couple hundred mobs hitting you + auto riposte every attack + 75% proc rate increase + ae proc = quickly dead mobs.

In short, someone slowed 75% with land 75% less hits and someone hasted 75% will land 75% more hits but proc the exact same amount of times.

Furious was the disciplined that riposted every attack. It was used for additional damage, and more importantly - to stay alive. You cannot proc off a riposte.

You're correct about slow being used in order to increase the proc chance.

The AA Rampage did an AoE Melee attack, not auto-riposte. Combined with a 75% slow, you would proc most hits on a shit ton of mobs, pbaoeing all of them.

Furious to stay alive while mobs gathered plus additional damage.
Slow to increase the proc chance for the swing of rampage.
Rampage to attack each mob and proc.
