i am hoping to get out more than 20 times this year, if you live in the seattle area let me know and maybe we can go riding together. i have a season pass to snoqualmie but im down for hitting crystal/stevens and baker if i have more than one day or somewhere to crash in belllingham the night before.

also, they are saying its going to be la nina again this year but it didnt do SHIT for us last year while the rest of the country got obliterated in snow, better fucking hit us this year!!

I've always hated everyone who went boarding/skiing in the winters in Seattle. FUCK YOU RICH FUCKS. I knew a bunch of people in Bellingham who lived there only so they had close access to Baker. Fuck them too.

For sure, in the winter I am a snowboard instructor in NH at Loon Mtn. So its all Northeast slopes for me. If you ever get to my neck of the woods let me know dude, I'll slip you and your buddies free weekend passes. In my opinion there is nothing better than snowboarding in the winter. Meeting up with your friends/new people at the parties later on that night. Drunken snowtubing is awesome hah. snowmobiling is fun to though.

Same. I want to move somewhere warm all year round. Snow means shoveling and a pain in the ass time getting anywhere, and cold. I hate cold.

fuk ya i am ALWAYS trying to get people into snowboarding, wish i had known it wasnt about having money years and years ago. you can easily get away with only spending at most 400$ your first year and be able to go as many times as you want. most resorts have a "loyalty" program ie beginner classes that get you so hooked you cant help but come back. every resort is different but snoqualmie offers a "graduation package" for completing the class. my first year was an additional 200$ for unlimited all mt pass AND rentals (boots/board/bindings) and i went 20 times from mar 5th-apr18th when they closed.

lol dont get me started i fucking love snowboarding.

i dont have spare board but no question i would take you up there 4thmeal, its like 120$ at the beginning of the season for 3 days (you pick) of rentals/pass with 1 1/2-2hr lesson. i do have spare coat/snow pants. picked up some nice stuff from vinnies (thrift store) for cheap, and play it again sports has some decent stuff sometimes. 3x this last year i paid for other people just because i wanted people to ride with, i would hit you up with a lift ticket too. thats one thing i love about snowboarders, typically not full of a bunch of elitist punks dissing on the "posers", its more like "hey man, lets toke up and hit this run!"

i have an aunt that lives in ABQ, not sure where your closest and best option for resort around you but if you lived closer could show you np im sure you would love it.

Thats because peoples bodies adapt to the environment their in, it's like short term evolution. Blood thickens the longer you are in a colder environment, and thins in hotter climates. I'm sure you'd be sweating like a water buffalo in florida you god damn yeti.
