Bard songs and Level range

I was invisible at level 12, when a level 27 bard revealed me using a song.

Im 99% sure thats how it happened anyway..

Is this supposed to be possible? and are other songs effective on people outside of level range?

I respect the bard's skill, i just find it weird.

She must have just used see invis and got her buddy to attack me, sorry for that.
