One of the weakest self defending classes........worth even starting one?
Are they like the medic units in the military? Peeps leave them alone unless guild/raid/group hits?

Surely they'll be targeted first in a guild/raid/group hit anyway.

I'm having fun in groups with my cleric, but alone you're a ridiculously easy target.

In 1v1, a cleric should be able to at least get away and can often outlast or even slowly whittle down some opponents. In group PvP, cleric is one of the crucial core classes. Keep a solid DPS weapon at hand and it'll be possible to occasionally beat someone by simply living forever and hitting them a hundred times.

clerics are going to be fat pks during these early months while no one has gear, then in Kunark you'll become a megabaws with spells and also get stun hammer from Chardok et al.

So far I tend to get perma rooted and DA only gives you about 15 seconds to /cry a few times before getting ruined. Stun is also hard to land for anything even+.

CLR v MAG is easy - fear/root/blind pet, root/blind/stun mage, nuke/melee mage.

If people are getting rolled by mages as CLR thats sad with so many options.

All you gotta do is disable the pet and 99% of them will just give blank stare as they die instead of dispelling.

Mages are kinda gimped with exploitable pathing and miss rate though. I'd still rather they suck a lil than just be class ez as we saw on vz/tz aka magebox 5/10 of the leaderboard

obv mages did well as a whole, but if i remember there were only like 2 on the top ten that included 3 monks, 2 druids, a warrior or two etc.
