the Quest for the Thunderstaff continues

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see if anyone has actually done the Thunderstaff quest on red99. I've been camping Drosco for two days and no amulet drops. It was a long camp on blue, but not nearly this long.

didnt see any amulet turn in in the quest descprition just a note or something

It says you need to turn in the note, but you actually have to turn in the amulet to get the Thunderstaff. Unless the chance of getting it from the note in infinitesimally small. Over the course of my life I've probably turned in 30 notes, no staff. But, the amulet works every time.

I got the Thunderstaff about the second or Third day of the server.
Camped 5 hours.

Got Regurgitator, died in ak'anon due to a bug.
Woke up naked in Qeynos with a quest turn in requiring item on corpse for Surefall NPC.

Turned in regurgitator to mammoth, no item returned, no item on the floor. Nothing!!!

So much for first bonethunder staff on server. Though I believe I own the first Thunder staff.

One of the highest levels on server before I started quest.

Got Deepwater Harpoon on 26th. Still waiting...
