I want you to think about who produced this movie.
Then I want you to ask yourself if THEY can not be a cunt, why can't YOU?

pretty childish tbh. you can do whatever you want in your movies, your art, whatever wall of dicks artistic expression you want to climb. but that freedom of expression does not exist equally in all arenas.
you can yell all you like in your house. not in a library. it's the same thing.

This is no different:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controversies_about_the_word_%22*****rdly%22
The Howard incident led to a national debate in the U.S., in the context of racial sensitivity and political correctness, on whether use of *****rdly should be avoided. Some observers noted however that the "national debate" was made up almost entirely of commentators defending use of the word. As James Poniewozik wrote in Salon, the controversy was "an issue that opinion-makers right, left and center could universally agree on." He wrote that "the defenders of the dictionary" were "legion, and still queued up six abreast."[3] Julian Bond, then chairman of the NAACP, deplored the offense that had been taken at Howard's use of the word. "You hate to think you have to censor your language to meet other people's lack of understanding", he said. "David Howard should not have quit. Mayor Williams should bring him back — and order dictionaries issued to all staff who need them."
Bond also said, "Seems to me the mayor has been *****rdly in his judgment on the issue" and as a nation we have a "hair-trigger sensibility" on race that can be tripped by both real and false grievances.

there's no accepted definition of "*****rdly" that is racist. what a complete non sequitur.

Are you referencing the colloquial or logical form (neither applies to what you said)?

non sequitur - not in sequence. does not follow. A=B, C=D, therefore A=C. non sequitur.
Hasbinbad
12-08-2011, 03:17 PM
It's actually A=B, B=C, therefore A=C, you fucking moron.

A=B, C=D, therefore A=C.
this was an example of a non sequitur. one type of logical fallacy. "it does not follow."

An ant is an animal.
An elephant is an animal.
Therefore an ant is an elephant.
ant = A
elephant = C
animal = B
Get your story straight cunt.
That's also not what happened above, without some circuitous rationalization.
It also was not a colooquial non sequitor, in which a statement makes no sense to what follows, such as:
I did poorly on my math test, I hope berries splatter your face.
L2 Engrish before you attempt to use complex terms.

this was an example of a non sequitur. one type of logical fallacy. "it does not follow."
That is not the logical breakdown of non sequitor. There is no "d" involved.
All men are humans.
Jane is a human.
Therefore Jane is a man.
A = C
B = C
Therefore B = A
What a moran.

A=B, C=D, therefore A=C.
this is a perfect example of a non sequitur. any time the conclusion does not match the evidence, that is a non sequitur. what you're referring to is ad absurdum.

and just for the record, this is not a fallacy at all. this is an example of correctly applied transitivity.

the first time you posted it, you didn't include any other information other than the equation. the SECOND time you posted, you included some other information that would indicate you are providing an example of an inductive fallacy. neither of which are examples of non sequitur.
Hasbinbad

They are both the same.
Everything I have posted as non sequitur is in fact non sequitur.

claiming that an example of transitivity is actually an example of non sequitur is, in fact, a non sequitur, which makes you right in some kind of bizarre metalogical sense.
holocaust cloak is a reference to 1st ed. AD&D equipment. you guys are fuckin retarded

Or what? You'd say things like you're glad my brother is dead? Oh no, not that! Seriously, I take shits worth more to this Earth than the entirety of your existence. The mere fact you resort to such spineless attacks proves more about your lack of character than any of your crybaby whinefest posts combined.

you boys are so silly (or bored) that you have to first fight over the meaning of one word then fight over the meaning of a phrase?
and while i'm talking about that....why endeavor to utilize such eloquence in an rnf post?
i'd rather just use small words. They work just fine and it allows everyone to participate in the argument and i don't end up looking pretentious :P

does it really bother you when people have a vocabulary that is larger than 2000 words?

and for that matter, are you really bothered that some would rather discuss linguistics than spam "u mad bro" over and over?
