They opened up your browser with-in EQ2 and redirected you to the Pizza Hut website so you could place your delivery order. The charge was credited to the card on your station account. So it was like: "damn I'm hungry grinding" ... "oh wait" ... /pizza ... *doorbell*

EQ1 did not have /pizza. EQ1 had no in-game browser. Therefore if you typed /pizza, no-in game browser would take you to pizzahut.com.

I'm gonna have to code a #pizza command that sends HTTP requests with your order information because of you guys.

:(

EQ1 definitely had the pizza command. It would open the pizza hut page in a normal, outside of game browser. So it's really no less effort than navigating there yourself directly.

I have never played EQ2, and I am aware of the /pizza command.

Actually, I believe EQ DOES have a browser at this point on live. It's just really, really crappy.

I'd have to play again to confirm though. Pretty sure that's how they run petitions now.

I thought that /pizza command was only in EQ1, but I am old and my memory is not what it used to be so I could be wrong.

I can't find any news that it was on EQ1, but it debuted in EQ2 in February of 2005.

I used it a couple times in the early days of eq2 when I was binging hard. In hind sight I'm pretty glad this command wasn't in classic since restocking on frozen pizza's and pepsi was about the only time I came up for air during summer of 99.

Anymore though you can set up an account with Jimmy Johns, Domino's, Pizza Hut, or Grubhub if you are in a major city and have delivery coming in a couple clicks.
