Is Buying an FBSS worth it?

Is buying an FBSS really wort it for a warrior?

I always assumed it was and that Haste was a given but people have argued against it in a warrior guide on the wiki.

Now I'm doubting because it's quite a lot of money to invest.

You'll get more out if it than anything else you can do with 14k, at least.

Unless of course you're extra badly geared and can use 14k to fill many slots or something. You'll want haste sooner rather than later though.

By the time you have 14k to invest as a warrior, you should already be planar. Get some cool guys and go to Sky and get a Free belt (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Belt_of_Contention).

If you're twinking, yes it's worth it. If it's your first character, no, it's probably not worth the time to try to farm it rather than going to sky or getting a hangman's noose.

Also, remember there is haste caps at certain levels.

Under level 30 you're capped at 50% haste, so if someone has a FBSS vs someone who doesn't - if you were to both have Celerity (or better) cast on each of you, the fbss would add zero haste since the spell already has you capped.

I'm 47 but Im perpetually broke and lazy, my gear is okay I guess, pre-planar,

one mith, 2 cobalts and the rest crafted or okay/tolerable stuff.

I'm gonna prolly be gradually aqquiring some planar from this point.

if you're 47 you should be trying to get up to sky for a warrior haste belt and save your 14k for other stuffz.

Fortunately an item like FBSS keeps its value. If you want to buy one, then get some other/better haste in the future, just sell the FBSS for about what you paid for it anyway.
