Okay so i just started playing and it says that the map is disabled.... Is there a list of options which the server has disabled? and also how can i find a map?

the wiki over at http://wiki.project1999.org is super useful and although not 100% accurate, its very close and is a handy tool for things like maps, spell lists, and item stat lookups.

Did you play oldschool EQ? If so, try to imagine a dev team working to bring back that exact experience. It's a work in progress, but they're getting there.

If you didn't play classic EQ, some things that are disabled are: luclin graphics, bazaar function, chat channels, spell sets, AAs, shared bank (do NOT put items in your shared bank! They will poof if you zone or camp!), halfling rangers/paladins, gnome SKs/paladins, in-game maps, guild UI tool, LFG tool and in-game pizza ordering.

Non-classic functions that are currently still in the game: gems, custom UIs.

Thank you Softcore PK, I have not played classic EQ so that answered a lot of my questions! :) Another question is this version is a bit different then the last one i played, and I am having a problem finding the exp bar.

Press the "I" button to open your inventory, and the xp bar should be there.

the client uses dodh inventory , which is definitley not classic

you can install the luclin UI Tho on the site , which looks more classic ,

but honestly your better off starting on blue , this server is dying and everyone is a dick.
