shiny brass shield < lvl 17 (10mr) 20-100pp, from trainer in CB

dragoon dirk - range or primary (3mr) 100-350pp, from dvinn in CB

skull shaped barbute (10mr?) - haven't seen for sale, forgot where drops

blacked iron helm (5mr) 200-500pp - drops in runnyeye (off king?)

hollowed bone bracers (7mr) 200-500pp - drops off rathyl reincarnate in najena

I think Cast is trying to say that in the long term HP gear is more important than MR gear because in raid/group pvp situations you'll mostly be playing MR songs anyway (which give well over 100 MR with a drum at level 50). I guess it depends on your playstyle - in a solo pvp situation I'd much rather have the MR gear instead of spending half of my time twisting resist songs.

In the future, I'll have two sets of gear. For now, being poor bastard, I'll stick with MR. For any slots I can't get MR with (there are many), I'll get crucial stats

As a bard, you can do roughly 25 dps to a player while rooted/snared. More than you would do swinging your weapons.

But Illi does sound ignorant, when saying MR is not important to a bard on a PvP server. I guess when you safely get to level in empty zones from 1-50, you never have to worry about PvP.


EDIT; Dwarven Ringmail Tunic cannot be worn by humans or half elfs.
