So when are yall gunna enable it? When the server is at 50 people? 134 people logged in at 8:00 pm est is not classic. Blue had it when the server pop averaged at least 100 more players then we currently do and not having it makes it extremely difficult for new - mid level toons to find groups. No groups = No leveling = No one wanting to log on = 134 people online during primetime.

Its easy to police with logs and server GMs being able to look through their ooc chat box when they come back from an AFK to weed out the faggots pretty quickly. There is NO good reason 2 not put it in. For the sake of all that is holy, PLEASE PUT IT IN ALREADY.

Say your friend wants to start playing on the server, So he makes a level one ogre warrior. He zones into the ferrortt to find that hes the only person in the zone below lvl 40! Oh how fun, let me solo this warrior that has no gear from 1-12 in till i want to venture off to a far away zone that might be empty as well! I hate finding groups in a easy and accessible way! I rather have the least fun possible and spend 10 years trying to solo my melee character to mid-levels.

Someone named Bashur who has 57,000 youtube subs started playing on this server and live streaming it. With him announcing that he is currently playing this to his sub base - It could prove to be a HUGE boost to our community. Now this is the shit part.. He originally rolled a character on red only to find that he was the only person who was in the zone. He said it was so dead that he had to quit the red server and just re-roll on blue where the server pop is much higher. IF global OOC was enabled, When he logged on he would of been greeted with a robust global channel with tons of people looking for groups, trading etc and not would of felt like he was basically playing an RPG game by himself.


So why the FUCK do we not have this shit yet?

Honestly this might be OK on a temporary basis....

I see it getting removed with 2-3 hours and hopefully it doesn't take much dev-wise.

It's just too obvious what it'd turn into, but hey, worth a shot. This is coming from Mr. Classic/I want Hard as Fuck EQ/Purist, but I'd give it a go just for a little sustainability. A guild recruitment, LFG channel or global auction might be good as well in that line of thinking. Suspending or banning offenders might also help, people are starting to certainly have something worth losing at this point and /report is pretty fool-proof.

But it could certainly help things. I know I've spoken out against it vehemently before, but I do care to see the population stay where its @ (it's not in too bad a place, despite what some may cry about)... and of course grow from there.

At the end of the day, the devs and owners of this server would rather keep it completely classic and watch it crash and burn (in progress!) rather than be flexible and make a few obvious changes that would potentially save the server.

This was made very clear by them before/during beta, which is why I and, I would guess, so many others decided not to play. Too bad, could have been fun.

I doubt global ooc would make much of a difference but it would be good to see the GM's acknowledge the issue. I think the absence of any GM communication has done more hurt than all of the other issues combined. An occasional, "We are aware of that issue and its on our radar to be addressed" would go a long way.

The head GM who was not seen or heard from for over a month comes back to a already dwindling population and bans a quarter of the active end game playerbase over pve shit. Not going to shit the thread up by going into that to much right now... just pointing it out how it looks from a casual player's perspective.

The most impactful communication we've had over the last few weeks was a reply to a Rants and Flames thread on page 20 out of 141. It's not clear to me that what was said was even actually enforced.
