Religion for an Ogre Shadowknight?

Worshipping Rallos will give you better starting faction with the giants in Velious.

Was that awesome cultural armour you could make (the stuff with like +40hp on every bit) in velious? or luclin? i'm thinking luclin, but if it's velious then RZ all the way.

Infact, RZ gives bonuses (however slight) where as cazic i don't think gives you much benefit at all.

Rallos Zek opposes the undead so it would be silly for a Shadowknight to worship him.

I was wondering this too. Wasn't bane damage a Luclin thing to begin with? Maybe they added that to the sword later on?

EDIT: The initial entry on Lucy for this item is 2003-06-04.
This is over a year after they started the database which leads me to believe that it was a quest that was added long after Kunark's release which would also explain the bane damage on it.
Any one have an opposing opinion on the matter?


And to reiterate, Rallos Zek and Shadowknight are a terrible mix. An ogre that chooses to be a shadowknight is choosing to shun its cultural background and instead worship the undead. Rallos Zek hates the undead!

Bertox would be your best choice but since you don't have that option you gotta go with Cazic Thule. That's of course if you want to follow lore at all.

Not to bring up an old thread but it is stated that greenmist will be available at end of velious, but its stated that it will be iksar only at that time. So for an ogre sk, is there really any benefit of worshipping cazic thule from a benefit standpoint vs rallos zek? If greenmist is able to be used by more than iksars, I'm pretty sure even worshippers of rallos or other dieties are still able to quest it, as researched on allakazam and eqclassic.org when dark elfs were able to use it.

Bertox would be your best choice but since you don't have that option you gotta go with Cazic Thule.

In the lore Bertoxxulous was the enemy of Rallos Zek because the followers of Bertox believed in undeath (necromancy, disease, walking corpses) which went against Zek's ideology of the slain should stay slain.

If anything Shadowknights should follow Bertox more than Cazic Thule

Rallos Zek -> Fierce Heraldic armor, but i think it was introduced in like -02/03 or something so it might never make it to this server(?)

I think if you follow CT, its just easier to get your Ikky faction up, but I could be wrong.

There was another post about that sword, I think it was in but no one completed the quest. They had someone who completed the quest in late kunark or velious, i do not remember. I would imagine the bane - shissar was added at a later date.

Once again, could be wrong, but I believe it to be so as girth was the one who posted the info in the other thread. Its a sweet swrod, but it wouldnt be that good in luclin for the amount of work required to get it, compared to NToV stuff and that jazz.
