Global OOC Strike

The reason for global ooc is to bring about a population increase. Most with a sound understanding of why people arent playing knows this isnt going to help much. It seems they are convinced that the only way to save the server now (which seems fine to a lot of us) is to implement things that will bring us closer to being BroBox 2.0 .

What im asking is for everyone who is against to show this is not true. The average pop at prime hours is between 120-180. Lets show by action this is not true and refuse to log on during the test of global ooc (if it does happen).
Show that the effect it will have on current players is much greater then any percieved effect it may have on "theoretical or possible players". Also i would like people to suggest ideas that may help the server population. Lets instead have a 25% bonus xp week, or a dungeon bonus increase week. Or a well published event for new players week.

The coolest event i could think of is to have a day with xp loss and gain from pvping. Or maybe an item loot day, or some event encouraging pvp.

These are just ideas. But anyone down for showing solidarity in keeping this game classic and not being BroBox 2.0. Should drop their chars name and together maybe we can make people see the error of all this.

Theres stuff that can be done without doing this is what im saying and those things should be tried first.

Fortunately for you, global ooc would definitely promote this one bro. Cheaper gear comes from in game selling for people who don't feel like using the forums. Availability of ports, definitely more of a chance if you can /ooc paying x amount of plat for a port instead of trying to fish through anon characters to find a nice enough person willing to admit their druid or wizardish ways and be nice enough to port you.

Your logic here fails again sir, it will change IF you want to use it yes. The things you ask for above will be more readily available to you because what? Everyone can see you asking for it in global ooc...if you choose to use it.

There are ignore filters for those who don't feel like seeing specific trolls speak, there is also the ability to transfer ooc chat into another chat window which you can hide off screen!

Global ooc has no effect on boat rides, except most likely drawing some sort of humor while you wait your 20/30 minutes to travel across whatever ocean you might be taking your adventure on.

Global ooc also has no effect at all on your, "grind," in fact most players would enjoy the fact because they might have a class who does not solo efficiently, but they only have a couple hours to play and don't really know anyone on the server. So instead of having to sit camped in a dungeon and getting shit on by random people while lfging they can ooc from safer places and then get a group without losing exp pre-group.

Global ooc provides a much nicer LFG tool than /who all lfg and going through the people you may consider and telling each one, waiting for responses, and then finally getting everyone together and ready to slay teh dragon.

Pal, you can go through like most other players and find out when the timeline manastone/de mask get taken out for yourself. I am sure multiple threads contain that information on these forums and outside of these forums. Its classic with nothing besides classic non-raid zones out. Solb and guk are the two hotspots anyway.

Of that 29%, so far, you are the only one suggesting a boycott. Like I said, you appear to be alone in this, therefore, you should go away.

A "global OOC" strike is silly. I don't like global OOC either, but it was on blue99 also, and it was temporary - after the population got reasonably high (like 600+ a night?) it was removed. Then the population started stabilizing at around 900 every night. So I'm guessing the point is for red99 to grow to the point where it won't need global OOC anymore, and then removing it after. I don't know if global OOC will help that much, but it's a lot less likely to help if the good players like Ironlion don't stick around.

Like I said, I still won't like global OOC because mostly idiots will be using it, but if the staff thinks it could help the population then it should at least be tested.
