Wording is kinda not so clear. But a video game is not real life money. Anything to back your opinion?

From what i get trading RL money for Coin, items and characters is not permitted. No where does it say trading software is illegal. Software is not RL money. Trading anything that isnt an item on the server for another item on the server isn't allowed really, except Red99 to Blue99, that is how the rule should be written.

Accounts are being traded so it seems more broader then that. If anything if this is illegal at the very least we can have the rule rewritten in a more clearly defined way so that issues like this don't come up, that is if this is not allowed. But from the rule it clearly states money only. I know Mods/Gms/guides are extremely busy and I'm sorry this is becoming an issue but at least we are being civil ^_^;

How about an analogy?

You are a hostage in a bank, along with a handful of other people. Three of four of the other hostages whisper your way, "Shut the hell up. They probably just haven't got the vault open yet."

You reply, "Well I'm not going to be quiet until they tell me first-hand why we haven't been released yet!" And you stand up and start walking over towards the head honcho with a smug look of confidence on your face, knowing that he is breaking his own rule!

And then you get shot, and you die, because you were dumb.

People pay RL money for internet services to play on the server and make the plat. I didn't pay for any of the games, they were given to me by Santa.

There really isn't a hole, just a lot of opinions. Until we can get a mod to comment there is no hole. Unless i tried to continue to pursue the trade after a mod told me its illegal (hasn't happened yet). I will respect anything a mod say of course.

This has been covered before. It's against the rules. No mod needs to come here and tell it to you personally, because you're the one who's failed to perform your due diligence and ensure what you're doing is legal.

The only trading you are allowed to post in these forums are trades of virtual things located on the p99 server for virtual things located on the p99 server.

P99 includes both the original blue server and the newer red server.

So reading the trade forum rules wasn't "due diligence"? So many bad opinions on this thread not backed by anything but pure opinion. But i guess you are to cool to link "This has been covered before" posts. At the very least i linked the rule and have an argument against it with valid facts.

So you know how things work around these parts. The project1999 admins dont give a shit that you didnt read the rules. They dont care that your new here. They are not customer service orientated and would just assume to ban your ass for even bringin it to the boards rather then talking to you and warning you. This is their world your playing in. You dont pay for it and they dont give a shit if you stay go or play sim city. Bottom line is if the community at large is telling you its against the rules it is prudent that you take the word of the folks who have spent alot of time here over blatantly calling out the Admins to tell you what you already heard was a "no no". /pun intended.
