Ranger weapon question

Have 100pp saved up and shopping around for an Ebony Bladed Sword but wondering if that's a good idea or to go for something else? Not sure if the root proc will come back to haunt me later on in groups or it wont matter. There's also Polished Granite Tomahawks but not sure how much the magic skin proc will help as I imagine I won't be tanking and just DPSing.

Any suggestions?

Go for ebony if you get one turn it in for a short sword of morin, if you get 2 offhand the second. The root proc isnt a big deal and if your group doesnt know about proxy agro well thats to bad.
