Hi there, so I was looking at the Experience Formula's for EQ on the EQ Wiki and was wondering if anyone knows if they're exactly the same in 1999. They are as follows:

1. Calculate group bonus based on the number of PCs in your group

For N= 1 2 3 4 5 6
GB= 1.0 1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.16

2. HCB = 1; if ML < 55 or PL < 50 or PL-ML > 5
HCB = 1.95 + ((ML - (PL-5)) × .13); otherwise.
3. B = ML × ML × ZEM × GB
4. XP = B × (PL + 5) / (S + (N × 5)) × HCB

Where:

ZEM = Zone Experience Modifier
ML = Mob Level
GB = Group Bonus (1)
HCB = High Con Bonus (2)
N = number of players in group
S = sum of levels in group
PL = player level
B = Base mob xp (3)
XP = EXP awarded to player (4)

The problem with this seems to be the High Con Bonus; which is unreachable since the cap in 1999 is level 50... Does this mean the HCB only exist in later expansions?

Edit: Oh also found this:

Total XP to complete a level = L^3 * C * R * H
Where:

C = Class Multiplier
R = Race Multiplier
H = Hell Multiplier (based on level)
Level Multipler
1-29 1.0
30-34 1.1
35-39 1.2
40-44 1.3
45-50 1.4

Level Multipler
51 1.5
52 1.6
53 1.7
54 1.9*
55 2.0
56 2.1
57 2.2
58 2.3
59 2.5*
60 2.6
* - Double "hell" level

Note - The maximum XP that can be earned from a single mob is approximately 11%
of the XP required to complete the level.

Anyone know if that's true too?

As much as I hate to say this, I remember when that group XP bonus modifier change went in... and I don't think it was during Classic.

I thought classic had a bonus only when you had a full group. I played from day one to 3 years and thought it was, but it's been so long...

Yup, ran some non-group numbers based off O those formulas and I can conclusively say that one or both of those must be false :/.

Anyone have any idea what the currently used formulas are?
