View Full Version : Good camps for farming money?

Preferably looking for one in the 9-20 level range, and it has to be one that's not often camped, like sisters in LFay. One that's usually open if you feel up to it.

Or are the LFay bandit sisters typically not camped anymore?

Easy kill, easy money, and most higher lvl necro/SK don't farm them so demand is high.

Squire in uguk is decent if you get a Runed Bone Fork, which sells for several hundred and should be able to do depending on level and class.

Or if you're really patient can camp GBS.

Bone chips. Spider/spiderling silk. HQ bear pelts/grizzly bear skins. Gargoyle eyes.

Generally speaking (without knowing class/race)...

Nektulos guards are fairly good money.
Wisp island in Erud's Crossing.
Kurn's Tower for bone chip farming is good, if busy at peak times.
Highpass orcs, chance at a Shralok Pack (200pp) and not lore, or Shiny Brass Idol (less)

...isn't the evil Equestrielle pathing near the Lfay sister camp these days? She'll HT you to bind point without you ever seeing her, or did to me on live :(

I'm currently in Everfrost Peaks, 11 ranger, killing snow orcs and spiderlings (which are everywhere). In a couple of hours I managed 2 stacks of spiderling silks, a stack of lixt wing stalks and a few bubbles of xp. Best place I found so far.

if you are in everfrost i forget what level the grizzly bears are but if you can manage to kill the ones in qeynos hills and BB the grizzly bear hides can be good money.

Lately I have been hanging around the druid ring in WC, there is a dervish camp, and an orc camp near by, and lots of bears and wisps, also the fact that its near EC is nice for trading, also the druid ring is generally busy, so there are often buffs available. went from level 7 to 13 here made a few friends and a few plat along the way.

if you get spiderling silk.. sew it into silk threads

then combine that with any low quality hide you can make leather padding.

That should sell 60~80 plat a stack easy

i know i'd pay that at least

it a 31 tailoring trivial or less for the combines

Anyone knows whether a lv21 druid can farm for an iksar berserker club alone?

Planning to start a monk or warrior alt, thought of farming some items for him.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Crushbone. Can solo or group there from 9-17. All the orcs drop coin, but more importantly:

1) You can sell crushbone belts for 1-2pp a pop. Every day someone comes into CB asking to buy.

2) Lego pads sell from 1.5pp to 3 pp.

3) Bronze spears are sellable at 2pp

4) Sellable loot off of Taskmaster, Royal Guards, Emmissaries and obviously Dvinn

Instead of selling the belts or pads, you can go to Kaladim and turn them in for cash, sellable 5gp loot, exp and faction.

Hello noble barbarian shaman. The best way to make money is to first level quickly, then concern yourself with material wealth. You can make 10x the money at 30 as you can at 15.

Even standing in the tunnel and SOWing for donations is a way to get some cash together :)

A good way to make some cash is to farm willowisps, loot greater lighstones and give it to Mrysila at the gypsy camp in North Karana. She will give you xp and a concordance of research. You can sell the latter for a couple of pp to any NPC vendor. Alternatively, you can sell the greater lightstones to players for 10pp at EC.

The concordance sells for about 9pp alone so always a good route to go.

Someone else mentioned this, but yeah. Just worry about leveling, the higher you get the more options you have, the quicker things die, so on and so forth.

Level first!

I didn't read other peoples post so not sure if this was mentioned. I use to farm Gargoyle island in Ocean of tears. They drop garg eyes that sell for almost 10pp. They weigh nothing and they stack. Also the gargs can drop 2 at a time! I think they are around level 19. Located across from Sister island dock near the butcher block side.
