The hammer won't proc until 50 I believe

If you're in skeleton form it bumps your faction up, which is 34 if I'm not mistaken?

It's around the same time you'll be killing sarnak berzerkers for braids in any case :)

..Or just charm the turn-in NPC.

I know I can charm, was asking what level I can charm without getting resists, but the answer that the hammer won't proc til 50 was a good answer so no point in charming him til I'm 50 anyways. Thanks

Do it at 50, he'll be an even con but you should be able to keep him charmed long enough to hand him the jade and fd. As others have mentioned the hammer won't proc until 50 anyways, so there's no point in doing it sooner.

Undead foreman is pretty resistant for a 50, but it should be pretty easy for a necromancer, especially if you can add some tash and/or malo to the equation.

just did it at 50, no debuffs.

1st resisted
2nd lasted 1 second,
3rd worked fine

I recommned max distance so you can get off that FD and keep up your rune.

You can probably kill Sarnak Berserkers from level 29 on. It is useful to get the hammer as soon as you can, for pretty much every class except Enchanter, Necromancer, and Bard, because so many juicy exp mobs will have Venril Sathir faction later and you can ruin your normal chance to get it before you realize it.

I did it on the first charm as a 50 nec recently (about a week ago).

Also had no problem doing this, I think charming as a 49 necro once I got Thrall. Just keep a rune up or stay as far away as possible to start.

I'd also recommend rooting, then charming, so when/if it breaks he isn't chasing you.
