Ive been reading a lot of information back and forth on this
http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Character_Races
According to that link Trolls are NOT fire sensitive?? I'd prefer to make a troll vs ogre but I'm concerned about any fire sensitivity

Trolls have low base fire resist -- something like 15.

Does this make them extra weak? Or negligible? I know shad knights get disease n cold res. seems like they're a target for every fire spell

You don't take more damage, its less of a chance to resist. I really dont know what you mean by more weak.
I play a troll and I get hit by fire spells. I also get hit by magic and ice spells. If you want buff up your resists.

It's very negligible. I mean VERY negligible. 10-20 FR off from other races means jack.

The base resist to Fire on a troll is 5. Yeah it's hard to resist a fire spell with that level of FR but resists shouldn't impact your decision to play any particular race.

For what it's worth, the low fire resist of trolls is supposed to represent the traditional fantasy idea that trolls are more flammable than a pair of cheap polyester pants =)
