game is a newer/revised version of haven and hearth with crappy eqish 3d graphics as opposed to the 2d sprites of the original game. i assume it will be copying the original games ffa pvp with permadeath combat system.

I've been playing the Alpha for the past few months, pretty fun. Also played haven and hearth for 2 years now I think if anyone heard of that game (it's what Salem is based on, same developers). I do big things in HnH, as the leader of Ainran, along with Dis, we rule the world. Anyone who knows "politics" in HnH knows me by the name of Valten21. |

i hermited in HnH and even i heard of ya...and everyone knows about Ainran lol

unless the items available are things like mid/high quality seeds or metal armor/weapons/tools then i dont see a big problem with the cash shop format, they need to support the game somehow and i doubt the shop will provide any significant advantage except for on new servers during the initial scramble.
