I hope I'm in the right place. I don't have much experience with forums. I saw a youtube video about Project 1999 and I assume it's a server based on the classic EQ.

Is this the EQ before major changes? Like the old race skins and such. I don't see an obvious link to the server where everyone plays. Everyone is on the same server right?

Yup...Currently in Kunark, Classic character models, server goes to Velious.

Are you sure you've followed this guide to the letter?

NP - Welcome :) And most of the players are on the "blue" server (non-pvp), although there is a core group that plays on the "red" server (pvp). The other servers you see in the listing are various other servers which can be fun to tinker in...EZ is made to just screw around and solo Cazic after playing for a few hours, etc, PEQ has a bunch of the stuff added post-luclin (I forget, it goes a few expansions past Luclin I believe), and the others are custom servers (aka modified content and zones).

Yes, Welcome aboard, Im working on getting set up to join the server myself. So far, everybody on the forms have been awesome. Great group of ppl here. Enjoy your classic EQ experience!

Welcome man. If you ever need anything a mage can provide (Food/Water, Bags, DS, Pet PLs, Birthday parties etc) just shoot me a tell in game. :)
