Some newbie questions about the Project99 server.

Hi all, I searched the FAQ and some other threads but couldn't find this info, so I'm hoping someone can please help me out. Anyway, here are my questions:

1) Is the XP rate the same as the original early EQ?

2) Are Necromancers expected to "twitch" people on raids? (That might have only come during Kunark)

3) The server has been around a while, just wondering if the majority of people are in the high levels now and raiding? Will I have a hard time finding groups from about 1-40 ish?

4) Will it only ever go as far as Velious?

1: Yes, fairly close.

2: That's normally your major role I would imagine.

3: Since you seem like you want to make a necro from your last question, you can easily solo 1-60. However, most mains have alts. And there is still a decent amount of new/semi-new people. Lots of young guilds are popping up for the 1-50 game.

4: We hope so.

Hate is not in yet.

Everything through classic timeline up to Veeshan's Peak is in. So yes, Hate sky etc are in

The project is still on course to release Velious down the road, one of the staff was kind enough to confirm this the other night.

Where was this confirmed? Was it on the forums, and if so, link please? Just wondering since devs have been mostly silent on this point.

Trust me there will be Velious. Not sure just when.

Velious was canceled.

Instead the next expansion released will be LDON.
It will be only available to top raid guilds. Once LDON is live, all top guild members will be transported inside a single LDOn zone without ability to leave. The zone will be set to PVP perma-death mode, where those raiders will battle each other till last man standing.

The survivor will be awarded special "survivor medal", and then transported into uber raid zone specially made just for him - the Plane of Suck, where he will be bound, and locked away for all eternity, so rest of the server can finally enjoy some public pick up raids :)
