Most people are still going to avoid this posting because what it looks like happened was this:

You: "WTB account 35+, paying real money!"
Ecguy: "FYI you can't use real money here.."
You: "Cool thanks.../ignore...**bump** WTB, paying real money (because if you were looking to buy your first account here, you obviously don't have in-game platinum as trade..hence, what else would you offer?)"

Not trying to give you hard time as much as I'm suggesting you clarify what you're actually offering. For instance, maybe your friend is willing to front the platinum to fund your endeavor, in which case you should mention that and possibly drum up some interest.

Of course it's a big problem, it's against the rules and also blatantly illegal since the seller would be profiting off of copyrighted material. This is obviously a RMT and you're not even trying to be evasive about it. Just level up on your own like the rest of us.

Makes it pretty simple, you offer him char with your pp, he asks for cash you walk away, he ok's the plat offer and his friend fronts the plat, you have a deal =D

I apologize if my initial post took years off of your lives, but I think after reading this one you may be able to replenish a few. And they say smoking kills!
