Now that Wu has been removed from the game how do you get past 108 tailoring after the reinforced armor recipes.... only next recipe is fleeting quiver at 220 or something. Is that the only recipe left?!
I want to get to Erudite Cultural tailoring level but it seems almost entirely impossible now... is there any tailors on this server that can craft that? I asked a few months ago and got no reply

Tailored quiver to 115, then yes pretty much just fleeting quivers to 220 (which take 2 sapphires!)

Erudite cultural shouldn't be in game for awhile...if ever. It all requires celestial solvent/essence.

No it doesn't. That is one of the ways you can make the component but not the only one.

Cast Spell Components: Poison Vial, Ruby(4), Spell: Purify Mana
In: None - Cast Spell
Yield: 1
This combine may only be made by Enchanters
It's gross, 4 rubies per bottle plus a platinum thread and an imbued black pearl, you're running 750pp per combine cost to skill up for 100 points.

For Eurdites? Yes. Unless someone leveled up on Wu's before it just got removed (I really wish I had now) the only viable tailors become halflings. They can skill up on cultural to 215. They need HQ brute hides from Kunark and foraged Acorns from misty thicket. Absolutely painstakingly boring to do but doesn't cost 750pp per combine.

Ah, right...that 'celestial' name always gets me.
Be that as it may it certainly didn't come out until 2001, after velious but prior to luclin.

That's certainly true. It was probably meant as a workaround for all the tradeskillers who depended on enchanters for imbuing and thickening for damn near every single item of interest in the tradeskill world.

So was the wu armor removed from live? I still don't get why it was taken out on p99, but I don't have a live account to see if is still makable.

The Wu's armor has been removed from P99 because it was not put into live until after Velious came out and velious is not live yet on P99. It bites, but its understandable.

And then the armor combines require terrorantula silk, the developers really must have hated erudites.

later sometime they add baby terrorantuas to solve the low silk, though I don't remember when.
